It is still in the conceptual stages. Sixen and Vj apparently just got permission to heavily customize this site and we'll definately be seeing some website layout changes in the future. Sixen and I also agreed that the way new members join teams should be more direct (like a recruit button or a resume box) sent to team leaders.
So big things like Mentor system and small things like the team functions will be fixed/added.
Not so much the forum but the front page: Could those live session posts not auto-load all the stuff that's associated with them? I appreciate the live stuff being done but each time there is one happening it makes me want to avoid going to the front page of the site because of all the extra work it puts my browser through as it automatically tries to watch them. A link to a page that does all the live event handling would be preferred over having all of it embedded right in the news feed.
Another reason why I'd want to have traceable posts in a profile as shown in my screenshots is that I've cleared my entire browser history (which includes logins, cache, cookies, etc.) twice now because I needed to access a school site and FireFox was being screwy about it. That is the browser's fault, but in any case, I now cannot track, easily, where I've posted because the links all appear as if I never clicked them.

Just a note I wanted to add.

I want to be able to find my prior posts and prior posts of others specifically Id like to be able to see all of ProzaicMuze's Posts because Im just thier chalk full of goodies.
Get the damn Live matches off the main page. Its extremely annoying to hear people talking and wait for the damn page to load. The custom Live stuff should have its own section and stay there.
On the active thread list on the main page. It would be much better if you had one of these active lists for each Forum Section... not the 4 last updated posts out of every forum. Its kind of a pain in the ass when im just killing time looking to help some people. Basically due to only 4 posts being shown the vast majority of posts go unseen. This is the main reason I bump my own topics when i need answers.
Possible Rating system could be that Topic posters could grade the helpfullness of the replies thier topics recieve. This would then count towards the person who posted the replies Total helpfullness rating. I dunno its a thought

I have to agree with this, it's really annoying. Nothing wrong with newsing livecasts but maybe put up static images that link to the feed instead of the feed itself.
Anyway, back to the reputation system i brought up... Yea, i agree with the others that posted about it, might not be THAT good an idea :/
Maybe just make something similar that helps identify helpful members? So, works the same way, except instead of displaying a number it ONLY says "Helpful" (or some other title. But only 1 title for everyone, will explain who i mean now). Have the title ("helpful", in my example) display only when the amount of points divided by amount of posts from that person is bigger than (insert random reasonable number here). Also allow people to mark posts as "unhelpful" (Sounds a bit too mild... Lets say unproductive posts... Or... Uh... Posts that dont make sense and just don't make stuff work or help in solving the problem or are completely wrong) which will decrease the points, making the point-post ratio harder to achieve. Also maybe change the look of posts if the poster has been rewarded/subtracted a point for it (like on blizz forums where you can vote on posts)
I think that way there would be no proper competition. I think that way though we'd need an a bit more complex formula for getting the title (and also add a title for negative ratio), and maybe also reduce points of people for posting in wrong sections and going against rules.
I agree with all the other changes.
Also, i noticed it was changed how the newest posts were displayed... I would really like it if you could somehow squeeze the name of the poster back in there somehow =D
Maybe also make an extended list, or a list for each forum section? (Not as the default top of the page list though, have someone click something for the extra lists to unfold)
just got another idea: make topics with questions have a status (like "unsolved", "On the way to solving" and "solved"), and then allow people to somehow find a list of topics (or use a search filter) of a certain status. That way, if i have a problem, i can search for, lets say, "How to create a unit" and check statuses "On the way to solving" and "Solved", since i'm not interested in unsolved and unanswered topics since they won't help me in that case.
And i am very good in stuff concerning heroes and certain abilities, so i could search for the words "Hero" and "Ability", maybe even "effect" and stuff like that, and check the box that says "Unsolved" and can find topics in which i can most probably help someone with ease.
Then there'd have to be an automated system, that when someone posts he can check the box that says something like "Possible Solution", and if it's posted with that box checked it sets the topic status to "On the way to solving" (Ok, someone seriously recommend a better name for taht... mines horrible...), and penalise people who misuse that option.
Dont know whether this is possible, but could be handy. Should be rather low priority compared to the other suggestions though.
Another maybe-impossible low priority thing: Make a "bump" button for topics which gets activated 12-24 hours after the first post, which basically has the same effect as posting a bump and deleting it.
EDIT: Mentor system sounds interesting. I think i missed that, anyone mind linking the original post about it, or explaining?

This happens sometimes already.
But the problem is that there is no way of automating that. After the problem has been solved either the creator (who tends to forget it) or a moderator (who can't possibly monitor all the topics) have to add the [Solved] tag infront of it.
The success rate of those flags being used would increase if the flags were actually built into the forum as a chunk of the threads themselves, as in when you post a thread you pick its status of none or one of those predefined ones and in the edit thread area you can later adjust it if you're the owner or a mod, just by making it that distinct it'll remind people to update its status or well at least make them more aware of its importance as more then just 'something some people do'.
oh ho ho and imagine what'd that'd do for a karma system of any kind if the thread owner could specify which user in particular gave them the needed help in order to warrant setting its status to solved...
Hey sweet, I was reviewing my junk mail folder this morning and noticed a little message from [email protected] about an incoming PM, sadly it wasn't concerning one of RodrigoAlves's but rather just one of mine but hey great work! ;)
hello folks, i think it would a good idea to have an open faq section, i know it might be boring to make a good "faq" alone. as example, a few days ago i had a bug on a map cuz i didnt know that a local variable resets everytime the trigger fires. making a open faq can be a good way to reduce the amount of small threads. If im stuck with a trigger i usualy know if it's a dumb mistake [wich can be answered in a faq] or not and i guess its the same for others. So now that i know about local variables i could post a thread in faq section.

What I mean is, we havnt once spoken about it to even get the details of how its going to work, its fallen off the map it seems.

I want to receive emails everytime someone PM's me. :)
I as well would like to receive an email whenever RodrigoAlves gets a PM.
:P
Added:
I kid I kid, I'll add that to the list as an option a user can choice... If I got a email for each pm I'd scream
I would like the site to spam RodrigoAlves mailbox to the point where he cant even open up his pm list with out it crashing his browser.
lol, think we went a bit off topic now xD
