Everytime I try to connect to the #Sc2Mapster IRC channel via the webchat it says:
Do I really need to install the software? >.< It used to work back a few weeks ago!
I had the same thing a minute ago. I'm pretty sure you just have to register your nickname.
Syntax is: /msg NickServ register <password> <email>
Then go to the email that you specified and read what it sends you.
Yeah I registered and it verified it and everything but it still won't put me onto the irc???
OMG oO So much work after it was for a long time so easy to enter the IRC.
/msg NickServ identify <yourpasswordhere>
and afterwards
/join #SC2Mapster
yeah what's this all about...
They changed it so that your required to have a registered nickname, I believe it is to prevent people from using other peoples nicknames.
Here's a guide on how to register your account so you can join: http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/tutorials/4961-irc-how-to-register-an-account/
Thanks Mind. It's all fixed now, sorry about that. No longer need to be registered.
