Only thing I can think of that is not balanced, is the two expansions behind a rock that pretty much nobody ever checks, terrans can hide there and tech up.
But the map is perfectly layed out symmetrically.
Some might say that there being 1 high yeald makes it unbalanced, but in high level games, expanding there makes you lose more than you are trying to gain, as it is so difficult to protect.
Anyway, my 1v1s are usually short, but 70% of the times i have a long 1v1 its on that map, which I love.
Just another option terran have when others do not.
I suppose it's not a matter of balance, but is the only thing I personally don't like about that map.
Interesting, in my opinion all 2v2 maps are unbalanced in a 1v1 situation, why? because it adds an element of luck, when you're scouting out an opponent's base you have a 1/3 (1/2 as zerg in some maps, its pretty easy to rush your overlord to a possible spawnpoint next to your base) of actually finding it, you'd have to move to the other possible places, and this all takes time.
Artosis wrote about the least balanced maps including Kulas Ravine, Incineration Zone, Desert Oasis http://www.mymym.com/en/news/18725.html
The odd one out is Scrap Station. Is this map balanced? What about the other four maps?
Interesting... Incineration Zone was removed with this last patch too.

it was removed long time ago If I remember it correctly

End of Briefing.
How is it unbalanced when the opponent is too lazy to check and lets you build a city there?

In most cases you can see the overlord hover over you and you can see which direction its coming from :l and guesstimate where his base is.
