i am currently working on a map that will be only available online on EU servers, i dont intend to upload the map to anything "public" due to tons of ripoffs of other maps you can find, and that might ruin the gamecredibility if someone uses the map, republishes it with some shit etc..
but also i like the projects pages, where you can set up a forum, set up informations and things like that.
the problem is, the project does not updat if you wont upload something.
so what now?
is ik okay to upload some dummy files to tell people "there was an update to this map, go check it out and play it on bnet2.0 afterwards"?
is there any other way to "update" its status so it appears in the maps list as updated
We'd prefer seeing the real maps being uploaded, but I'd say it's OK not to.
I don't remember there being any rule, but please add a easy-to-find paragraph to your project description that tells people about the dummy file.

I feel it would be fair game to do so... just state it clearly in the description
dummy file should still contain something funny though...
