i started about 6 months after release of sc2 .. never looked back, made virtual friends, fiends, foes, fun and fun and fun and competition, and a home!
i do not intend to fore-go this arguably "normal" and possibly distressing habit, although i have taken short stretches of absence.., however, the absence of someone "actively" working (..playing) on it .. could make me have to stop though.

i'd say that while my love and interest for mapmaking remains at its peak/peek (in over 20 years of mapmaking), i never managed to make map maker friends and probably never will .. which makes me a dreamer and nothing more ...
As far as mapmaking goes, i'm a passive consumer (which is still "allowed" in many places around the world)
