I've been scouring the forum for a while but could't find what I'm looking for: a tutorial to make a mod that adds new game settings when playing a melee map. In mods such as 'Custom Campaign & Co-op Units', under the game setting window just before launching the lobby there are multiple drop-down menus that would change game variables such as available resources, supply limit, tech-tree limit, etc. How do I create new drop down menus to change the global game variables?

Not sure it works through a mod with just the editor tools, i believe hard coding would be compulsory (opening mod file doc with mpq editor ?!
The part you want to be looking for is UI that would takeover at the start and make those menus "take over" the default start.
