I've been working on some maps for some time, but now, after the patch, all of them seems to have some functions altered or removed.
For instance, I have a trigger where a unit entering a region triggers a cut scene. That works, but all the dialog is gone, even though it's in the triggers.
In every map, the lighting is odd, and altered unit names are back to normal (I renamed a war pig as a hero, and he has the new name in the editor, but the old one in the game). It seems everything used in the data editor is reverted back to normal.
The maps still play as normal, and nothing in them are different in the editor itself. I check the triggers, and it's all fine. Can somebody explain this to me?
EDIT: I luckily made copies of the maps and put them in a distant folder. Those maps function fine when opened. However, if I work on them some and then test them, they occasionally become as those described above.
@Taintedwisp: Go Stop giving wrong directions, with 1.5 there's no need to save as components to solve localisation issues.
Just go Map -> Locale There you can see which language you're using to edit your map. Go modify locales and you will see all are checked. Uncheck the ones you haven't created text for, so all languages will use the language you edit your map. It will be working in game.
Thanks, guys, I'll check that out. Been working on a campaign for a long time now, and wouldn't want to waste it because of a minor issue like that. I'll check it out as soon as I'm on the editor.
EDIT: Odd, nothing seemed different. Even odder, a map that previously didn't work now works fine....
EDIT 2: But then again, a map that did use to work post-Arcade patch now doesn't work.
I check locale, and everything but English says "unknown", unless I click "modify", which looks normal, although English is the only one checked.
EDIT 3: I check locale again. Now everyone "unknown" is ticked off, but when I go to "modify", only English is ticked.
@EivindL: Go You should post these bugs in blizzard's forums. Tell them what is happening in details, maybe you're not the only one. They can help you better than us (I hope so).

most of your issues seem like a locale issue, especially the warpig naming. You need make it a componates list, and then localize it manually.

There's a lot of back and forth here, but I think I've got a handle. If a map gets screwed up, simply restarting seems to fix it.
