In my map called Random TD. After a time the triggers cant create any more units and people cant create anymore units too. It seems to happening only with 10+ players.
And players get this message, which show up in the alert area but aint alert:
"Couldn't allocate unit"
(searched it in the texts: ID: e_cmdCouldntallocateunit Core.SC2Mod)
There isnt more than 1400 unit on the map at 1 time.
I have no idea how to handle this...
Update: Solution, copied from my post under:
"The amount of ability a unit have the amount it counts in the max unit limit, which is 16.383. So if you have 1 ability on your unit than you can have 8191 of it on the map. If it has 9 ability than you can 1638 of it on the map at max.
Also morph abilities counts as 2.
The basic tower type on my map had 12 ability and 9 morph ability. So when 9 player built more than 550 from it together than they couldnt built any more of any stuff."
When testing, how many units SC2 can support, I was able to create exactly 16.384 units, after that, no additional units spawned, but without any error message. No idea, what is wrong in your map.
Dont know, probably more than units... every building has splat. Since that I change lot of stuff on the map including some actor events and seems like it no longer happens.
Its still happening and I tried many stuff.
I was wondering that maybe changing textures on unit decreases unit limit? (I am using Actor - Send message (TextureSelectById) sometimes more than once on a unit...)
Found out what caused it!

yeah I saw that post from you. Since that, it might have been changed...
Heh, I just recently tested it again, that was yesterday ;)
maybe the player number has an influence?

hmm player number might influence it.

how many actors total do you have at a given time?

bump, its still fucking happening. I tried everything to fix it, but with over 2000+ units its still sometimes happens!
