When I run the trigger to create melee units for a player, and it creates a hatchery, it doesn't also come with starting larva. Is there some other way to make that happen?
I'm using a custom race, but the hatchery is largely the same as the normal one, and even just a slightly edited version of the same object.

You modified the start count on the Spawn type behaviour used by the unit?
