Question 1. How to know whether a image is a border type or horizontal type?
Question 2. Can borders be applied to a with ratio of 2:1 (I always thought the border images must be 1:1)?
@lolzguy: Go
1) Press Alt+`, type browse and search for the image texture you're attempting to use.
Horizontal borders usually have a size with a larger width to height if i recall correctly.
2) Don't really understand this question so I'm going to pass on it.
@FuzzYD: Go
1) Thanks for the advice on browsing the textures. Anyway, so you can't really tell what type it is? Only have to find a pattern and use the pattern to find the type, right?
2) Never mind about that question, I just got it figured it out :)
Anyway. thanks for replying

Right, usually there is no other indication.
