I don't know if I'm having a bad day or what, but I'm at the trigger editor and I can't find the option to do this
I have a probe. Now through Triggers I want to order the probe to build a structure (for example, nexus). Now here is the deal: I want him to "select" the "build nexus" command, but then let the player choose where to place that structure.
This is because I'm using dialogs for a custom interface building system.
Also, how to unselect the probe if you don't have enough resources to build said structure.
Have something else to select. Like a supply depot or something.
You could also have a bunch of points where the unit can build.
Build structure else pick a random generated number corresponding to a point.
You could maybe have 2 triggers in a loop so that the unit will try one trigger and if not it will run the other trigger which is the same and the only way out of the trigger loop is to build a structure at the randomly selected point.
Once the unit has done it's job, then have the trigger select the standby unit. You can hide the portrait and also have the unit view readius as 0 so you wont see the unit. You can even have the unit size set to 1% or so in size so that it's so small you can't see it.
I don't know if it will work but it's a suggestion which could work. See what you can work out.

I think you need to do a "If then else" command.
