Hey guys, I am not sure whether this should be in theData section or Trigger section.. As you have probably guessed im an Amateur map maker. I am making a scvz football game (NFL) and Repear872's thread really helped.. But me being a failure i failed to understand what was said in answer.
Could someone please explain this to a noob.. This would be very helpful. Here is the link :

In addition, I was wondering, If you have 11 scvs all instant killing how would you make them respawn while only keeping 11 on the field at one time.. I was thinking of Hero Death Prevention but that wouldnt really suit my purposes. Have any of you played this addicting game on original SC?
Well, for triggers, that shouldn't be a problem. Just when an scv dies, you immediately create a new one. For the event, use Unit Dies, and for action use Create unit X for player (Triggering Player). That should be all.
Hang on what? so Trigger would be something like event :scv dies, Action create new scv? im quite noob at editor confusiing since i started 2 days ago
Thanks for help though... Am i on the right track? ... When ever i start.. i have to clcik return to game cos a box comes up saying the game is a tie....
Later on i might make a ladder type thing if it becomes popular with stats .. wins etcc.... Ill somehow have to make rounds so its not just one quick game of scvz football where one guy scores then its game over... gotta make score limit 21 then new round ... IDK i am very noob...

um i was thinking of using the mineral PAllet instead of canister, Beacuase with the canister you actaully have to click it... But i thought with the mineral pallet if u can walk over it it would be better.. I've got to figure out how to change the auto cast abi;lity on the mineral pallet so that a unit can hold it and it does not automatically collect.
I tested map, And when terrazine Cannister enters Region 2 nothing happens... even though in triggering it should change score..Do I have to put when SCV enters region 2 and another event of cannister entering region 2?
thanks for the help on that.... Ive asked a couple of friends about the being able to pick up the mineral pallet... Still cant get it.. And the terazine cannister does not do anything when it reaches region 2
I was hoping to make it the football (coloured) which looks cooler, Is it possible to make that pickupable with out mining?

I created the trigger for you. The comments should tell you everything :) Also, removed everything that you won't need.

---" before text. I only did the SCV death resurrection, I didn't do the score triggers.thanks for the help on that....
