Im not so sure when you set up a dialog that you can give it a string value for the path. If you can give it a string variable you can just use a string array and preset all the values of the array with the proper paths you want used, but I dont think that is possible.

Set dialog item image accepts string via (only?) CustomScript tab.
I don't know, maybe i get lost somewhere in middle of this but to save image to bank there's no "Bank - save image". I know i could create table/array of used images and store/find them by ID but that's imo annoying to lookup ID everytime you forget where given image was.
Is it possible to convert(extract) File(image) type to string path?
For example. Set dialog image takes File(image) and (from code side) save it as
"some\\path\\image.dds"
Or i'm missing something?
what exactly are you trying to do?

Thanks for reply.
I need it to save (to bank) image as path without actually using any array
Edit: Actually i found odd way

@Nerfpl: Go
it can be even shorter:
in galaxy code images are strings, so using this GUI action definition you can cast an image to a string.
the return action is made as follows:
replace lp_image with whatever is listed at the script identifier for the parameter, and prefix it with "lp_"
Heh wow xD
Actually i tried this as first thing but i got error. I guess i mistyped something.
Thanks
Edit: i see, even if in GUI parameter starts with Uppercase letter in code its lowercase
