You can write text inside a dialog and that's what you use for that.
Create a dialog with a text label and start an action definition (with own thread in options) and use the label as a parameter.
The action definition should update the label every second with "wait" and a loop that stops, if the label is no dialog item anymore (= destroyed window).
I wouldn't use Timer windows...they are garbage. Just like the built-in "Leaderboards". Trash. Replace them with Dialogs and Dialog Items and use periodic triggers (pref just one master periodic trigger for performance reasons) and check Duration of timer and set Dialog Item text based on remaining time of timer.

Is this possible, I have seen it in Marine Arena and would like it in my dialogs. ust a timer in the dialog, but not a seperate timer window.

@Ahli634: Go
Create a label dialog item, and update the text every second using the convert integer to time function.
This.
I'm using this method for any sort of timer in my maps. The default timers are not that friendly when it comes to customization.
