The map that I made prior to release during the beta seems to be riddled with problems. I can't seem to get my game variants for a custom game to work. When I upload my map and attempt to play it, none of the variants I specify take effect. There is also no option to select the variant that I have made. When I take my game variant and set it as the default and upload it again, I get a "S2GAME_INTERNAL_ERROR" every time I try to host it.
Can someone help me with this problem or point me in the direction of a tutorial for game variants that dates after SC2's release? Everything I know from the beta doesn't seem to help.

I hope you've fixed your issue by now but if not, it's a game variant causing your issue.
Open your map, select Map > Game Variants > Attributes tab
Don't set player colors/race, leave them as None/Unlocked. (I think this stops publishing issues)
select Map > Game Variants > Game Type tab
Don't set a Mode or a name for that mode. You can change the Category as you please.(This should stop your issue)
Hope that helps.

I've had problems with game variants in the past (turns out a dependency error was the causing problem, no clue why). Try what I did http://forums.sc2mapster.com/development/map-development/9420-game-variant-bug/ hopefully that will solve the problem :)
