I have a HT-based hero, who I've given a duplicated version of the Immortal's weapons to. And I simply cannot get the lasers to shoot.
Of course, I've duplicated the Immortal Attack actor, and assigned the Launch field to the damage effect of the weapon. I've meddled with the Events+ section for both the Attack and the regular actor, trying to duplicate the attack events used in the original Immortal and Immortal Attack actor. And nothing is working at all. I'm going crazy. Help?
Yeah, I changed all the models with the 'X Copy' stuff that I could find.
The first and second picture are the parts of the Events+ field on the unit's (named Raizsh) actor that have to do with attacks. The third is the Events+ field on the Raizsh Attack field.
But I don't want the Colossus's attack, I want the Immortal's. However, pulling an attack animation sounds like what I want to do. But I'm not sure how.

Did you check if the models were changed when copying?
Otherwise: Can you post your map, or the "Events+" information?

Is the impact showing? Because the "Launch" effect of the Immortal is built into its model.
Yeah, the impact of the weapons still displays.

You won't be able to use the Immortal launch thing. It's part of the Immortal model (attack animation)

Is there a way around this, then? All I want to do is fire teh lazer gun.
Perhaps the problem is that the Immortal does not shoot lasers.

But I don't mean that it fires lasers like the Colossus. I imagine the Immortal is firing missiles, and the missiles just look like tiny laser shots.
You'll have to pull the attack animation from the colsus... It can be done (one of the popular maps has a banshee that does it).
