Alright in my remake of "The Phantom", a map that was pretty popular on SC1, I need a trigger that randomly picks a player (that is in the game) and gives him X amount of resources every couple seconds/minutes. I've already tried doing it and I'm just getting confused. I'd rather not post my map just yet, so I need a trigger typed out on here along with any variables it may use. Thanks :)
Not to sure that would work, but it's also not what I'm looking for. The trigger has to select one and one player, and all game that specific player recieves extra minerals and gas. Currently I have it working on my map, but if there is a more efficient way of doing it then that would be awesome.
Make an Integer variable (let's call it "phantom") and assign it a random value.
Then, just make a trigger that gives resources to the player "phantom"
So if the integer was randomly assigned 1, then the trigger will affect player 1, etc.
Then you can easily refer to the same player with the rest of your triggers as well.

It needs to select a random player out of the number of players that are actually in the game and give that player 20 extra minerals and gas all game every 5 seconds. I've tried 5 ways and none of them work, perhaps someone else could get it working. Here's the map:

this should work. remember to delete your own stuff first (I placed the system in a "The Phantom" folder)
