if there is no doodad/model for the exact pose?
i tried making a unit with "marine_death" model and it was just a marine standing there. i even told the animation to do death, it did, but it stood right back up!
anyone wanna test it?
Let him play the death animation, wait 1 second, then set his animation scale to 0. That'll freeze him in the middle of his animation.
Alternatively you could try to tinker around with Set Animation Completition or whatever it was named.
Or the ghetto solution: give your marine a behaviour that creates a damage effect on self that does enough damage to kill the marine.
