Hello everyone, i've searched but i wasn't able to find a solution to my problem so hopefully you'll be able to help me
Basically i'm trying to get the wow models to do the casting animations but they have names that cannot be (as far as i'm aware) selected in sc2 editor (SpellCastOmni, SpellCastDirect etc.)
So my question is simple - is there a way to play these animations in the game with these names or is there a way to change their names to the sc2's allowed ones? (or any other method to play them)
This is a very late reply, but I hope this helps someone in the future.
This is my idea of getting this to work
Before you export a model from WoW model viewer go to export options for M3 models in WoW Model Viewer, you can select individual animations that are exported with your model, you also have the ability to rename the animation. my method of using these other animations is just to rename them into something that matches a Starcraft 2 models animation name. for example, you could rename SpellCastOmni into Dance1 and just run the dance animation every time your unit is casting.
