FIrst you need to open the previewer CTRL SHIFT V, and find out what the animation is called, aka "walk 1" "fear" ....ect, then go into the units actor, and change its walk animation to that equal to the name of his fear animation.

Hey guys,
Just a quick question. I duplicated the "Scientist" and he has behaviors that control his "run" animation. He uses his "walk" animation by default.
I was wondering, how do I make his "run" animation the default?
And how is the "scared" animation called?

Make a trigger and add a behavior to the unit. I'm not sure about the Scientist, but for Civilians it is Civilian - Run. I'm sure it's very similar.
