i would rather learn what the triggers do in a guide or tutorial instead of looking at some ones work, i am a visual learner. I dont learn knowledge from looking at the outside of a book, if i did i would have finished my 6 year degree 2 years ago.
So let me see if I can understand this: You want someone to sit and explain how the income wars' map's original creator made their map in full detail, so that you can then go and copy their work and make an (I'm assuming here) cheap knock-off? Look normally I'm all about helping in this forum but well, this is just too much to ignore. Sorry man, sometimes you have to actually do some thinking and problem solving rather then regurgitate instructions and I'm saddened that as a college student this isn't something you've quite picked up yet. I wouldn't hold me breath waiting for someone to hold your snowflake-like hand through the process of copying someone else's map and bawwww'ping the thread continuously isn't going to help either.
I want to apologize for the snark, this thread just really rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Again I'm sorry (really).
You are completely incorrect, Youre not sorry, I am here to learn how a income wars works so i can make something similar but no where near same concept. I come here looking for help and help a few while im here. There have been a few people that have helped me A LOT. It looks to me as though youre here just to be rude with your 26 TOTAL HELPING posts.
The part of one of my post in the thread you failed to read was " I would rather learn what the triggers do in a guide or tutorial instead of looking at some ones work."
I don't get it. Why don't you just download the map "Income Wars" (It's on SC2Mapster), and look at the scripts? Bone was kind enough to leave it unlocked, so it's completely open.
If you want a small little general concept: Set a global variable for income as an integer, and whenever someone completes the building of (unit) add the amount of income to the global variable relevant to the triggering player. It'll help to set the GV as an array. Then just set it so that every xx seconds, add income to the player's minerals.

Um... what is income wars, can you explain it a little? Maybe I can help you.
spawn units to run across the field of the enemy player(s) to destroy their goal building, gives you income the more units you send,
A popular map is Nexus wars, I want to learn how to make one just like this but with different limitations and ideas

Still looking for some help on this.
The idea certainly isn't a novel one, however...from your vague description of what it is, you would probably need a trigger similar to this one:
Events
Unit - Any Unit training progress is Completed
Actions
Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to ( Scan Move targeting Target Point) (Replace Existing Orders)
Player - Modify player (Triggering player) Minerals: Set To ((Player (Triggering player) Minerals) + 100)
