I only know three text tags. I don't know there's any list of them.
<c val="FFFFFF"> color text </c> FFFFFF is the color code in hexadecimal and in RGB style. So the first two F's are for Red, then Green then Blue. 00 means nothing of this value, FF means maximum of this value.
<d ref="xxx" precision="1"/> Inserts a value from the data editor (the xml catalogs) in the text.
The synax is: Object type, Object name, field name.
The precision tag is optional and will indicate the number of signs behind the comma.
For example:
<d ref="Unit,Ghost,EnergyRegenRate" precision="1"/>
Will show the energy regeneration rate of the unit Ghost.
Yeah, i've tried a number of these styles to achieve the effect im looking for. The problem is that many of them have their own pre-made formats. I need to be able to access the alignment and font size with these tags, but I don't know the proper syntax.
There has to be a way, some of the pre-made styles are aligned center, some are aligned left and they all have different font sizes. How would those have been formatted?
Through the style tag?
All other common tags don't work. MAYBE there is a tag for size or alignment, but if that's the case then it's rather well hidden.

s3rius, do you know if its possible to read a string/text value in a reference, or is it limited to int/real only? For example can you reference the name of an ability in another ability <d ref="Ability,Something,Name" /> . Doesn't seem to work, but maybe there is another attribute like type="text" that can be used?
Was wondering if anyone could link a page that lists all the different text tagging commands, such as how to change color etc...

<s val="xxx"> styled text </s>
This will change the text's style into xxx. There is a large number of styles at our disposal. You can find a lot of them here:

Is there an updated list? The link provided seems to be broken :(
Also, I was looking through the built-in code and found the following:
<s height="16">text</s> However in my own testing I haven't been able to get it to work..
