Situation: a unit has an "attribute"-class behavior that increases its maximum hitpoints, shields, or energy.
A serious bug occurs if this unit morphs (such as the Viking's transform). Current health and shields reset to max health/shields, while energy reduces to the unit's "Energy Starting Amount" data value.
I have been playing with transfering current stats between units. In my map when 1 unit attacks a stat is changed (such as max hp) when this unit dies 2 are spawned else where with the stats the first died with. This is unique for each death so maybe you can use a similar trigger for each time a unit morphs to set the maximum stats to those of the previous form?

Are you sure both units have the Behavior for attribute change?

Yes. The units also have identical life / shields / energy stats.
