Hey SC2Mapster, I'm making two custom abilities and it's like you (the commander) called down with a caster unit a yamato attack (first abil) from an battlecruiser in high orbit (wich actually isn't in game) so the yamato missile must fall from the sky like the nuke does and then detonate like the nuke (same model also).
This ability doesn't use any magazine, its an effect target type and issues a persistent effect wich then calls the hyperion special yamato launch effect and then the hyperion special yamato damage effect (AoE ability).
It works but the missile is launched from the caster and travel towards the target point. It should just fall from the sky right on top of the target.
The second one is like the first but it uses the hyperion plasma torpedos so from the sky fall multiple missiles in an AoE area.
No requirements or anything i just don't know how to make the missile fall from the sky..

Under the Action type actor you must use a custom launch site. You could do like the hellion weapon and have the Site type actor moved to the location of a Create Persistent effect offset.
Hmm I'm very noob on this, I'll look onto it and reply here later, im not using any action actor just the missile unit and the impact model (nuke explode model). I'll create one and reply.

I'm completely lost, Got no idea of how to do it...
The Action type actor determines where the visuals of a Launch Missile effect launch from and to.
You would need the persistent effect to use two periodic effects per blast. The first uses a dummy effect to relocate the site actor to a high point while the second does the on the ground blasting.
Just check the Hellion Attack Beam Impact Site actor and Hellion Attack Beam actors.
