Look at how MUle's behavior is made, then change anythign you need to suit spider mines.
If I recall correctly, that "buff" is given to the created unit of an ability. So, When you use Mule, it firstly creates a unit at a designated location, and then gives that unit a buff. So, when you create your spider mine, you should add that behavior (there is a field in Criete Unit effect, which gives those behaviors to the created unit).
Go to effects, find the effect that creates the spidermine (Its of the type "Create Unit"), there's a field called "Effect" something, cant remember its exact name but you'll know it when you see it (there aren't that many fields, let alone fields that accept effects as values). Change that to an "Apply Behavior" effect that adds the timed life behavior you want.
Time life behaviors are buffs with the expire effect "Timed Life Fate" and a duration equal to the time you want the unit to live.
^Topic. I tried copying the Mule timed life behavior and putting it on the spider mine unit but that doesn't work.

Sorry, still can't seem to locate what exactly connects the behavior to the unit. Exactly which field is it under? Thanks.
