then after the effect wears off become small again i am needing this for my marine character... and i wondered if this is doable by data. if it is tell me. i also intend to have unit do double damage when this ability is in effect. but that's the easy part. the hard part well... is making the shrink and get bigger effect.

Yes, it's quite simple. Make an Effect-Instant ability, which calls an Apply Behavior effect, which applies a Buff behavior. Set the Buff-Modifications to increase the unit stats that you want. To make the unit visually larger, go to its Actor, and in the Events+ add:

Behavior.BEHAVIORNAME.On
        Set Scale ...

Behavior.BEHAVIORNAME.Off
        Clear Scale ...

Of course the ability needs to be added to the unit, and a button on the command card for it to use the ability, etc. I'm sure you can find guidance on these basic things elsewhere if you dont know already.

You don't need the Apply Behavior effect though, you can create an ability that directly applies a behavior (of type "Behavior").

But doesn't make a huge difference I guess.

hmm... never tried that but yea thanks to both of ya. i was checking to make sure that was the case.

problem for some reason the scale isn't clearing. says the prop isn't there and its not working internally or something.

i added what trench said i should to the marine actor called marine. and thats all i did. in the actor anyways.

it keeps saying cannot clear prop that is both created and used internal ly by the system... i can check for error number if you'd like. i don't remember it atm.

nevermind it was the clear scale blend duration... so i guess im set.
