I am not very good with requirements and was wondering how to make a requirement that makes it so you need greater than or equal to (*set) amount of minerals to acces a button any ideas?
ya basicly the button only shows when you have over 100 mins (its so i can use the triger "when button is pressed" and have it cost 100 mins but if i dont do that the button can be clicked even if you don't have enoug mins and the trigger activates)
wait so its triggers? cuz then you would do something like
Event
Player gains or loses minerals (or whatever event, a periodic would also work)
Actions
If
Resources player has >= 100
Then
Show dialog (your button)
Else
Hide dialog (your button

So for example you need 100 minerals to access a button but using the button doesn't cost you the 100 minerals?
I geuss make a requirement of some sort....?
Try the Unit Compare Field validator since that can pretty much do anything if you can figure out the right string to enter under Validator - Field.
An alternative would be to have the ability costs so much to use but gives back the amount needed to cast using the Modify Player effect.

thanks alot but trying to do it as a data requirement (because the button is in data im using the event button is pressed) but ill try that :D
