I'm trying to warp in an infestation pit, but when i do it doesn't exist while building (placement and built model are fine). I'm assuming it is an actor event issue? I don't really care about the build animation, I just want there to be something there while I am building it. If you know which events to modify/delete please help me out.
P.S. The infestation pit is a copied actor linked to a copied supply depot, so it doesn't have to be built on creep and doesn't take dot.
I literally just used the warp ability and gave it an infestation pit button and made it build the copied infestation pit. It warps everything else in fine, it's just the infestation pit that is messed up (probably because it is a zerg building). The infestation pit gets built, it is just that while it is warping in it doesn't have an actor.
Edit: Been poking around and got some more info. It needs a build actor. I copied the one for the infestation pit, but now it looks like it normally does (and I want the build animation to look like the infestation pit itself, not the infestation pit build animation). I'm going to try changing the model that the build actor uses.
If I am correct, you can go into your copied Infestation Pit Actor, scroll to the top of the events, and find something like "UnitConstruction.Infestation Pit.Start"
This is where I would assume to use the create action to create the pit right when the construction starts.

So is the build ability warping stuff in fine? You creating an actor on construction start?
