Title says it, i tried footprints but it causes problems if i remove footprints, like i try to spawn it in a certain location and it doesnt go where i want it to.
Maybe changing the mover to fly and unchecking all the collide flags? Do you want to apply it to a whole unit type or to a single unit in a certain situation?
Ive tried that, if i do that when i try to spawn the building in via triggers it ends up in a random location becuase it has no footprint so it doesnt know where or how to put it down.
More likely the placement for the footprint does not fit any nearby area where you are trying to spawn it so it is choosing the nearest suitable location.

Shouldn't be a problem if it has no footprint.. buildings without footprints just act like normal mobile units do, in the sense that they're no longer connected to the building grid. Use a region to set the location of the building, and it should work fine (I know for a fact it is possible to place a footprint less building in the center of a region with a trigger)

As stated just make sure they do not share any flags under the Movement: Collide field.

Neither of your suggestions worked.
Go to the building, under movement, and where it says Footprint and Pathing Footprint, press the red - button to remove the footprints.

I found that if i got rid of the footprint and changed the spawn locations by .5 then everything would line up properly.
