so what i need help with is i have a barracks, and i have a hero. The hero dies and he is teleported somewhere off screen. Then revives after 10 seconds.
Well what happens after that is he is still off screen but i have made an ability for the specified hero that re-spawns him into the actual playable map area.
all works great except i only want him to be able to re-spawn within a range of 5 next to a barracks. I have a search area with correct target filters but what i need is to have a validator that finds only a barracks and not any other structure.
I am using Unit type but when i put the validator in the search area it doesn't matter if if there is a barracks or not. The validator just gives me the error message that you set on the validator itself. (the one i used was unwarpable area)

Just use a compare unit type validator. Put it inside the effect that is called by the search effect.
there is no compare unit type validator unless im blind just Unit Type and that doesn't work.

You must put the validator in the effect just after the search.
