Hello, Yeti here. I need help with an ability for a map.
What does this ability do? We have a proto-drake model being used for a 'patch' to a current map released. The dragon is to have a "flame breath" ability. We want it to be a cone with a perdition flame turret attack attached. The cone is to "sweep" in an arch. The problem is not the cone, but the flameturret attack model: the dragon does not have an attachment point on its head, and my data editor is unsure of a work around. Please post here if you can help! Thanks!
Since the model lacks an attachment point other than origin you may need to make a custom launch site that is offset relative to the origin. I would advise making the flame based on the hellion attack since that is a beam that you can stretch so making a sweep attack would just be a modification of the colossus weapon.

Don't know if this will work....
When the dragon attacks:
Create persistent1 that will create persistent2 using different offsets periodically.
Persistent2 will create the flames and Persistent1 will periodically move Persistent2.
.
You may actually need 3 persistents for different angles (not sure on this either, I'm so helpful).
