Alright, this is a bit of a beginner question...I can't believe I've never wondered about this before, but I almost exclusively do 360 degree arcs.
When creating an Area of Effect Search or Damage Effect, how exactly does the Arc parameter work? If I set it to a number (let's say 45), does that mean it will only select targets within 45 degrees of my caster/attacker's facing? Or does it mean 45 degrees total, so 22.5 in either direction?
Or do I possibly not understand it at all and its more restrictive? The one time I tried setting it to something other than 360, it could only shoot one direction by the specified amount. It was more or less facing - facing +45, which just looked stupid.
Changing the Target - Impact Location on your search effect to Source Unit should fix the arc to be centered on the unit's facing (otherwise, it's just centered straight down, afaik). It should be a full 45, as well, 22.5 on either side of the facing.
