Hey guys/gals
I'm currently a bit lost.
I followed an online tutorial by OneTwo about building towers etc, but i appear to of missed something, but for the life of me i cant work out what it is or where i have gone wrong.
The issue is, I've created a tower, and a builder, all show up in game and work, apart from a few sounds problems, but when i am in game, the Build Sructure Button on the command card has gone. In the Data editor its their, with it leading to the submenu 2, and that has the tower their.
But it just doesnt show up in game.
Firtstly, is the first button on the command card appearing, that links to the second one?
If it's not its cause the 2nd command card is not filled in correctly, as it beleives it is blank, can you post a screen shot of the second command card and the fist command card so we can see what you have done? :)
The general consensus that was reached after I had a similar problem with this was that it had to do with the fact that submenu buttons only appear when the abilties in the command card page they link to can be used correctly. In my case, I didn't do anything wrong at all (complete copy of a build ability, but made from scratch), but it just didn't work. Duplicating an existing Build ability and modifying fields from there solved the problem for me.
tl;dr: Either there's something wrong with your build ability or you made it from scratch and it just doesn't work (due to a bug).
I had a bug with the command card where it would allow any button to be linked to command card 2, I had to clear the button completly and start again, the editor has lots of bugs again if something isn't working its easier to just start again if it still doesn't work then there may be a bigger problem.
But reason i was asking about if their is a requirement set up to the button is that if the button is being hidden due to a requirement it make the link on the first button dissapear also as there is nothing to click on in the second tab

Command Card 1 ingame - has The Attack, Hold posistion, Stop Buttons - But No Build Button
Command Card 1 In Editor - Has The Attack, Hold Posistion, Stop Button - Also has the Build Options, that go into command card 2.
Command Card 2 In the Editor has 1 tower within it.
Im at work at the moment, so ill upload some screenies later when i get in.
Thanks.
Command card 2 with the tower in it, does it have any requirements attatched to it?
