Hi, in NOTD I have a Tower that does periodic AOE damage to enemy units. I would like it to do AOE damage only when a friendly 'Engineer' unit type is present in 5 radius. How should I do this? Thanks.
You will need a Location Range validator, set Compare to Less Than or Equal To, set Range to 5.
You will need a Unit Type validator, set Value to Engineer.
You will need a Player Alliance validator, set Find to Enabled.
You will also need a Combine Validator, set Combines+ as the Location Range, Unit Type and Player Alliance validators, set Type as And.
Now I haven't tested this, but I believe that should work, or require a slight tweak.
OR, instead of the Player Alliance validator, could use Player Type validator, set Value to User, though I believe that would only validate if the owner of the tower has an engineer by it, and not just any friendly engineer.

Just use an Enumerate Area validator set to player/ally that uses a Unit Type validator.
