You should check tutorials for things like this. Adding abilities to units is a basic and important thing that you want to understand well, rather than have someone tell you. I'll give you a brief answer anyway, but you really should check a tutorial.
Make the upgrade ability, add it to the command center unit, then add the ability to the command center's command card.
Create a button with the image and description made, this is done with the data editor.
Create a 'research' ability and add the upgrade to it. Select and change resource/time/button stuff under this page also.
Than go to the CC and add the 'research' ability you just made to the unit, than go to the command card section and add the button. connect the ability to the button and its should be fine
I don't know if this will happen to you, but I also do it the same way as DarkFireDragoon suggested. After you research the upgrade, the button does not go away and you can upgrade it again. What I did to overcome this was create Requirements that will count the upgrade so that it will show / use when it's 0 and not if it is higher. Attach that requirement to the upgrade in the research card of the CC (the same place where you set the time / minerals etc.)
If anybody knows of a better way to get this achieved, please tel me :)

I made an upgrade to make an Odin have more life, and I want the upgrade to be under the Command Center so I can buy it from there. How do I do this?
