I try to achieve two different behaviours if clicking the movement of a unit, depending on the radial distance of the click to the unit.
Now I only ask myself, if I can do that with events.
Since MovementUpdate only gets called at start and end of movements, I ask myself, if there is a trigger, which gets called every time I click the unit - I tried "Ability: Move" - but that only gets called if i explicitly call the move ability, not by rightclicking after selecting the unit.
Is there a way to make this happen?
Does somebody know a very detailed page about Actor Events?
You do know actors only apply to visuals right? The Validate terms are often useful in that they can use the awesome power of validators on your actors. The Cursor Update and Pre Targeting Updat events can detect selection of the unit.
I would use a Combine validator of the And variety which combines a Unit Compare Field and Unit Compare Order Count validators.
As for a detailed page about actor events....The wiki on this site will be the best eventually but so far we are the only one. Ask Kueken531 on this site, he is quite good with events.
