I have replaced the effect for the firing of the Viking Assault Mode's gatling gun with that of the siege tank's. However, a third flash appears directly above the gun(where the missile pod is). How can I fix this?
It's possible the problem is that the muzzle flash is part of the animation for the Viking's attack. The flash from the Tank's attack, however, could be a separate graphic. If it's appearing above the gun attached to the missile pod, try going into the attack action actor for the Tank's weapon. Look at the attachment point. It's possible the default attachment for the Tank corresponds to an area of the Viking that is not its gun.
EDIT: I think the graphic for the Tank's attack is its own model or actor. Look at the actors that came with adding the Tank's attack.
Was fiddling around with it- the problem is derived from another change I made. It appears changing the Viking's damage effect to Tychuschaingun-Damage(can't remember the exact name) caused this, as I started over from scratch, and it appears with this change alone.

Run it on the iPhone. There'll be no flash.
My annoyance at the content of your response was outweighed by my amusement at it.

I don't know what I did, but it's fixed now. Ty for the help anyway.
