I'm trying to use an ability on a unit if it has a behavior, now I used a validator under the ability to check if it does has the behavior. The validator that I used was "unit compare behavior count" and added it under smart validator. But it's not working, what I want is that if the unit I click has this behavior then the ability will activate otherwise it won't. What is it that I'm doing wrong?
Welp, I fixed it, I used it under the missile that it was being launched whenever the ability was used. Doesn't make much sense that the validator must be in the missile and not under the ability.
Smart Validator is for abilities that uses smart cast. Smart cast is to make abilities activate on right-click like the move or attack abilities. You want to put the validator on the effect that the ability does to do ability validation.
Somewhat related to this, how would I realize an area-targeted ability which should only cast if at least one enemy unit is in the target area. Putting validators in the search effect wouldn't do the job, right?
Isn't there a minimum targets field in the search effect. BTW validators don't work in search area effects, you'll have to put it in the effect that the search calls for.

Use an Enumerate Area validator. Put it in the first effect after the ability.
