1. You mean like the beta colossus? Use a Create Unit effect to make an invisible impact unit that is ordered to move to the target by an Issue Order effect. The impact unit then has a Buff behaviour that uses a periodic Damage effect with splash. As the impact unit is created by an effect from the caster you can use the effect tree to determine the hosting.
2. So you want to do like the hellion weapon but using a different model?
3. You will need a Create Persistent effect that uses Search Area effects at offsets. When it hits a target the periodic validator will need to disable the further searches. Maybe use markers like the colossus weapon? Actor wise the hellion weapon is what you need to look at.

Hi, I'm trying to make Laser weapons.
1. None-Target Laser.
This laser hits Target Point(Ground) and chases the Target(unit).
2. Zarya's Laser
None-Target Laser with pierce.
This laser hits all units on the laser.
3. Metal slug's Laser
None-Target Laser, can't pierce.
This laser hits unit which block the path.
Is there are any tips or reference data?

Effect - VoidRayVoid(CEffectCreatePersistent) - Target:Location : Target Unit -> TargetPoint
This laser hits Target point, but do not chase Target unit and stuck in ground.

The point is "Laser needs Dummy unit".
The unit approach is easier to do tracking than doing like the colossus weapon where a Site (Mover) actor is used.
