How to show little numbers above units head? For example when the probe in MineralZ map harvests crystal, numbers rising above his head. Or some maps use it to show income, given after the creep unit's dead.
I want to use it when my unit executes uninterruptable order like ghost nuke launch. I want to show countdown before the unit get to be available for commands again. What's the rightest way to implement it?
There are 2 ways, 1 is to use text actor, which is exactly the number that gas and mineral pop up you see in campaign. Duplicate and study their actors to do it. (mineral pickup or just search for text actor)
The other way is using text tag from trigger, you can create a text tag at position of unit and float it for a while, then fade/destroy it. Use trigger with events unit use ability in this case
The MineralZ method is "Display cost" under ability cost, I'm rather sure. The gather ability has a cost of -1, which grants 1 mineral when used and displays the appropriate resource change above the casting unit. Very simple, would be preferable to triggers if you're after a similar effect.

My effect shows countdown between the moments of ability start and finish, so it's quite simple as a trigger.
