I used 3ds max to make a non-replacing marine with new textures but the team colors still show up. I changed the marine_diffuse_blood.dds to change the texture. How do I remove team colors from my marine model?
I changed the texture......What I am saying is that I put camo all over (Including the shoulder) a Marine, but ingame the shoulder is red, and it shouldn't be, so what textures do I need to edit? And why are the only textures in 3ds max the Marine_diffuse_blood.dds and specular and normal? Also why does the ghost model on have the Nova_diffuse.dds and no Hpoly_ghost_diffuse.dds when clearly Nova's skin isn't on it?
Uh, ok so team colors are from the alpha channel in the diffuse map. You have to set it to use alpha channel as team colors somewhere in 3dsmax. I guess Marines don't need an emissive like protoss.

They are defined by transparent areas on the texture
@malu05: Go
