--------Repeat this for each region-----------
region[region number][1] = starting region
region[region number][2] = ending region
---------------------------------------------
then make a trigger like that:
EVENT:
Unit Enters/Leaves Region
Unit: Any Unit
State: Enters
Region: Convert Preset To Region
Value: Any Region
ACTIONS:
General - Pick each integer from 1 to <number of regions>, and do (Actions)
Actions
General - If (Conditions) then do (Actions) else do (Actions)
If
(Triggering region) == Regions[(Picked integer)][1]
Then
Unit - Move (Triggering unit) instantly to (Center of Regions[(Picked integer)][2]) (No Blend)
Else
I wonder if it's possible to change the assets file to use custom models in melee games.
I know that this will be only a local change and other players will not see my models, but i don't care about that.
This works perfectly, thanks a lot!
(i suppose that i could change the chance by adding redundant effects, like 2xEffectA and 1xEffectB should give EffectA a 66% chance to occur)
There is no way to change terrain texture ingame
And you can't use different creeps
(AFAIK)
You can place flat units on the ground and cover it all, but this will fuck up your minimap and your cpu unless you're playing in a 32x32 map
You can overlap the portrait with a gui showing this image when the unit is selected. take this as a last-hope solution, i don't know if there is another way to do that.
Wao! It really looks amazing!
Tell me if you need help with triggers/data, i would really like to give an hand if this will help to bring the relase date closer.
I loved WC3's ITT
I had a similar map in mind some times ago.
I'll tell you some of the stuffs i wanted to add, feel free to take inspiration.
The game starts in a common city, but for some reasons resources income (food, fuel and general goods) slowly falls down bringing fastly the chaos in the city.
Starving people (growing in number as the game goes on) will assault supermarkets, shops and the few trucks that still arriving.
Police will try to mantain order over the city, killing rebels.
And in this game the player is just one of the civilans, and he has to find food and resources all around the map (in abbandoned cars, houses, corpses, etc) to survive the longer he can.
I'm looking for ideas for a brand new map.
I have the time and skills needed to give life to a concept.
I want some innovative ideas; I will not create the bad clone of DotA or "just another TD".
If you have some strange/unusual/funny/mad/stupid ideas please let me know about it.
(If you don't want to share the idea with the public yet → [email protected])

generate an array like that:
regions[number of regions][2]
--------Repeat this for each region-----------
region[region number][1] = starting region
region[region number][2] = ending region
---------------------------------------------
then make a trigger like that:
EVENT:

I've made something similar much time ago. Take a look at this, it doesn't require any custom library.

You can create a "send" button near the edit box. Might be a soultion.

Do you know if this is possible? And if it is, how?

I would like a SimCity-like map too. I didn't seen anything similar around.
