I am trying to use button references but nothing comes up when I select my custom effects. The default effects and values work just not my custom ones. any ideas why?
Thanks guys, missed the turnable flag all together =P But now i have it firing and once the target dies or moves out of range its turret stops (Im using the dark pylon) and the rings stop spinning. Any ideas why?
Okay so I have made a new unit which i want to have an AOE attack. problem is that it doesnt..... when i target a unit it says 'can't turn toward target' What can i change to make it work?? cheers
well u could kill ur hero when the button is clicked, assuming you made ur own hero selector that should'nt be to hard, then if your hero selection is all on one trigger just run that again and it should be fine
In the barrack train ability, go to info+ and from there you can add more units that can be trained. then all you have to do is add the buttons to train the units.
Also you could make an off map unit which has the create unit ability and when the dialog button is clicked, order that unit to use the ability you wish to use, in this case the create unit. This will enable you to select where the units are created.
I believe in the buff modification tab you can enable and disable abilities but Im not sure how you would disable the ability in the first place. Another way would be through a requirement on the button which checks for the buff. Hope this helps a little bit and is sort of correct =P

the height needs a seperate site orperation otherwise it will just fire from the ground beneath the unit

you could use a periodic event that checks to see if units are within the range you want

yeah its the if then else statement. you put your condition in the if part and your actions in the then part and well else doesn't really matter here

You need to check if the player has enough minerals with an If statement. if player minerals > 10 then subtract 10 minerals create marine
