I even tried using one of the default Game Variants, but the only thing that happened was that the map refused to upload at all. (Stuck at 0%).
-See how shitty the Game Variants are?
I have made a map that works just as intended during single-player. It even works to upload the map.
However, whenever I start the game with more than one player something bugs out.. (Doesn't matter if it's AI or an actual player, as long as there is more than one player, it bugs.)
Now I want to ask if there's a kind soul out there who could take my map file, check it out, see if they can fix it and upload it for me.
I had a similar issue once. Before I figured out how to mend Blizzard's broken doors.
I used to replace an open door unit with a closed one. And since I had pre-placed the open door in a place where it's pathing would not allow it to be (halfways up on a wall), the game placed the new unit nearby - where the pathing allowed.
So yea, if you're replacing your door unit with another one - stop doing that.
This is a teaser trailer of one of the projects I've been working on.
It's a single-player map, with a third person camera system and a WASD movement system.
The object of the map is to escape the facility alive, hence the name: Escape Science Facility 13.
Now for my question:
Would you play a map like this? Is it worth spending time continuing this project, or should I focus my efforts elsewhere?

Apparently. No one ever replies around here.

That sucks. Lots of useful functions from WC3 doesn't exist. =(

Hi.
Is there a way to check and compare what texture there is at a certain point?

Hi.
Does anyone know of any "ice-ish" terrain? I would prefer a couple of different ones: Ice, Black Ice and Snow. -But finding ice is my main issue.
If there is none in the default editor, is there any custom-made ice to be imported somewhere?
Thanks in advance.

I already did all that.

Like I said, it doesn't matter if it's an actual player or AI. -It happens everytime either way.
It has nothing to do with my code. I believe it's a battle.net issue related to Game Variants or some other shit that doesn't work.

Here's what the bug looks like, btw:

Hi.
Does the order of dependencies affect anything?

My solution to this problem lies within Game Variants.
I couldn't upload my map (stuck at 0%) when using any of the default Game Variants.
So I created a custom one and I could finally upload the map.

I doubt any map will be scary if you use the standard SC2 overhead camera view.
I wanted to make a Doom 3 rip-off, featuring a WASD movement system and lots of darkness.
Here's the result so far:

Anyway, I played around a lot with Lightning. (ctrl+shift+F10)
You could probably restrict the camera for the players to certain areas (to disable exploration.)

Not sure if this helps you, though.

The idea of your map sounds pretty much identical to the map I'm working on.
I could test your map and give you some feedback, but Battle.Net 2.0 is useless for custom maps, so I doubt I'll be able to find your map. =(

I haven't played Dead Space myself. I've heard it is really good, though. (I don't dare to play games like that.)
I was actually going for a Doom 3 rip-off. -But without the weapons.
Thanks for the feedback. =)
