posted a message on [Help] for a guy who is totally helpless with new map editor...

Hello all, first of all I am from Hong Kong so please excuse my bad grammar.

I played SC1 and had made several single player RPGs without much problem on the old editor, but 10 years gone by, I got old and the editor (and even the turtorials around internet) is now far beyond me. I got a great story (imo) and bunch of ideas that wanted to make them come true, but lack of skill stopped me from right the start, so Iam here to ask for a possiblity of help.

The story is set in the not-so-near future, soon after the Earth is unified under one government (based on Terran), a meteor crash landed and a species of aliens (based on Zerg) started rampaging on Earth from then on. Human battled them hard and in the middle of war they found another species of aliens (based on Protss) interfered. The protagonist is a human special force lieutenant (well....a ghost?), when participated in a mission to rescue the general of The Luna Fleet (who protect the colony on Moon), fall into a sequence of various events that would later discover that the 'Zerg' aliens had lived on Earth underground since the planet's creation, and the 'protss' aliens are here to decide whether to completely destory the plant as it has been their only way to due with the same enemies in other galaxies. The protagonist would eventually struggle between protecting the Earth or destorying it by his own hand.

The gameplay will focus on small team tactical combat (usually controllling 4-6 heroes, associate wirth AI allies), and I wish to make it down to the level of detail which may recreate some real tactical sense and feel of playing Company of heroes, or even Modern warfares. The projected length of the campaign will be around 30 missions.

I guess I am already too old for PC gaming and all I got here is the story, ideas, and maybe some very basic map designs. is it possible that I may assemble a team of experts from different field here to realize my dream? If there're any hope that someone might help, I'll go in more detail.

    Thanks all.
