But I doubt that Blizzard will ever support it natively as they want to have 2 MMORPGs themselves. (WoW and unannounced one)
MM doesn't work well on a p2p base, and Blizzard wouldn't want extra costs (servers).
I don't think it would really threaten Blizzards MMORPGs because of the quality difference (read, lots of hired ppl vs a couple doing it for free), but, reasons above :>

Caveats
Consider the following when creating maps:
• The World Builder will crash without warning. Save all progress often.
• There are prototype and/or legacy features present that are not used and/or are no longer
stable. This means that some features might corrupt maps. It is recommended to backup work
regularly.
• It is possible to create a map that will cause the game to crash. Preview maps that are in
progress frequently to ensure that the map has no elements that crash the game.

Part of 1.1's change was adding a chance variable to all effects, I think the range is 0-1, if its a real then I'd imagine that .20 would imply 20%. This is theory though, haven't tried it yet.
That's how chance works in the editor currently. (behavior buff, damage response has "chance")
If you select to duplicated EVERYTHING of a unit, it will make new abilities too (etc) instead linking to the existing. For most purposes, that is not necessary.
So you need to go to the abilities (etc) tab and delete there. Easiest way to do this is to right click the ability (etc) in the unit overview tree (is that the right word? bottom left thingy) and select "view linked object" which will bring you to that tab with that object already selected.

Shameless bump

It's perfectly possible. Income wars used that model for a short while on the bunkers ;)

Then you are doing something else wrong as that is the correct answer.
What type of behavior are you using?

Am I doing something terribly wrong or does the editor not support it?
My guess is the 2nd currently :/

Don't know why it wouldn't work. Maybe you should check again if everything is correct. Sometimes a single flag (or whatever) can break it.
Does your added effect work?

It's in the repair effect : "Drain Resource Cost Factor"

Does the actor have a model? :>

Possible: maybe.

If you still have the bugged one, check the "Overview Manager" (F12).
It will show you the size (compressed & uncompressed) of the maps components.
That could help identifying the problem.

Will definitely take a look at it as I am working on a "cat & mouse" style map too ;)

Nice.
This makes me remember DoW2 World Builder...

@t1du: Go
Actually it's not mac specific.
It's just new that the death reveal type has the category/prefix "none".
edit: screen added, also, I prefer table view, I couldn't work with your settings ;)
