I'm doing nothing to enforce these questions because I can't. True
Even if you answer all of the questions with yes, I can't make you finish the map and release it to the public. True
What you have said are all true. However, even though I can't enforce these questions, I can ask people, people don't have to listen to me, why should they be forced to listen to me? I am not even 50% correct but I can give guidance to people to help them. I am asking people to answer these questions so they have a better chance and self motivation to finish the map. If you are motivated, you have a good chance to finish this map and even if you don't finish your map, you can release what is done and let other people finish it off.
I like this guy. I Totally agree with you. Map Making is a hobby and we do have real life to deal with. Map Making should come last in our list and that is why I want to ask "Are you willing to give up up some spare time?" and "Are you dedicated to this map?". Many of the maps I seen that have been abandoned lacks dedication and time.
That is why I want to ask the people who are going to make a "Planning" Project to ask themselves these questions, I don't want to make mapping a job or do I want people to get use to abandoning projects because of lack of future preferences and self preferences. Like I said, life is number 1 and life is hard. Mapping should come last, not first. I also don't want people to think that once they start a project, that they can just throw it away, because you know its a hobby.
