    Brilliant Tutorial!

    Though seams i have issues with it at the point 11 and on. To me seams, that they changed the command in the editor ( or i really over looked something )

    Also an interesting bug, the spawn units do star go twoards the point, but dosen't matter how many, some just stops half way twoards the point.

    What i plan to make is a 3 Tier type creep wave. -Tier 1 Fighters ( right at the start ) -Tier 2 Bombers ( 5 mins into the game ) -Tier 3 Light capital ships ( 10 mins into the game )

    I think the rest be easy once i can get the fighters working =)

    posted a message on When egg finishes morph back to larva?

    Hiya, i have an some what similar quastion.

    I like to make a space dock, when the space dock trains a unit, like a battlecruiser, an BC appears inside, when finishes, the BC disappears. Tried create the BC actor, but it dosen't create in the first place, and when finishes, the destroy command to clear stuff up, removes everithing. Any way to work around this in a step by step way, would be very cool.

    Thanks for the tip! It's not like individual units die and that reduce the firepower of the whole swarm, but the swarm units are targeted now and works perfectly. This should do it for awhile.

    Half of that it is done you wrote, now the validators and behavior which i need the help with, and i also like to make it reperishable, so if out of combat, then able to regenerate. I intend it to be a player controled ship, just like a BC =)

    the other night i began work on this puppy

    An swarm unit of the zerg, now what i like to achive is that the individual swarm members get damaged, that damage being transfered to the main core unit, once the the last swarm unit killed, the core unit dies with it. The damage transfer mechanism and HP share ( 35x Muta of 150 HP = 5250 HP core unit ) that i need help with, making the rest aka core unit invincible and untargetable is easy.

    Have anyone done anything similiar before?

    posted a message on [Data] Colliding Projectiles

    Hello there, followed your tutorial and the collosion detection dosent seam to work for the time being. I have reduced the projectile speed and increased it's detection range, but no sign of effect, the projectiles get destroyed at maximum range only.

    Okie, i remade the whole thing, with the tutorial help, have the following issues:

    -Launch Points ( projectiles spread out from the middile of the unit, I use the SS_Battlecruiser )

    -Weapon only fires if i give a target with mouse ( if change it to instant effect, says must target unit )

    Edited: Launch Effect fixed. Projectile / Actor related issue fixed ( how come duplicate works, new dosent???? )

    Hiya, i like to request a tutorial from the SC2 editing gods.

    I have successfully added shields to my units, they show the proper protoss plasma shield effects as should, but i like to take it a step futher, and change the colour of the shield for the terrans ( red, green, purple, any other colour then the standard blue ) If it via team colour ( red vs blue team ) or through race ( Terran vs protoss ) would be cool in either way, and would be a big help!

    I'm quite new to the editor and learning everything on the go, duplicate, create the actors not a prob, actually already have them, the colouring through the actors as been explaned above i think be alright too, tough the validators, and how to exactly link the terran shield to the terran ships that not much clue of at the moment.

    Yes i did All the shield actors ( which is part of the projectile impact ) It still remains blue. I tried to set color tint directly as an event * then a actor related to it ) then the actual colour, that also didnt work out

    Just tried out, ( unless i did something wrong ) not working. I done the following

    1.) Added 5 events 2.) Each event a ship thats on the map ( start unit, preplaced ) 3.) I set Tint Colour ( Local ) to all of them with red 4.) For all 5 Protos shield actors thats used by the shields

    For now nothig shows.

    Thats been done and now see the ability on the command bar, tough cant fire the weapon yet, playing around with the ability ( Effect target and Effect instant versions )

    My quastion is related as well, i wanna make all terran ship shields be Red, tough not sure how the shield is actually attached to the ships ( protoss or terran, tough with a tutorial i did manage to make shields for the Terran ships, but thats the protoss plasma shield ) Any one have a good trick to pull this off?
