    So, remade the mothership and all of its weapons. And now it works. I've been over every field of every actor, model, and effect. But I haven't found a single difference and I can't remember any difference in making the weapons.

     

    I am stumped, but at this point I'll take the win. If I figure out the solution, I'll hopefully remember to post it. Thanks fro the help @DrSuperEvil.

     

    Edit: If anyone knows the solution that I missed, I would still appreciate knowing

    Ok, so I tried your advice. First I added the 'can initiate attack' and 'continuous scan' flags to the weapon options. The gorgon in this case would only fire one weapon (doing no damage) when not moving and fire all 16 when moving (still doing no damage).

     

    I then moved onto re-enabling the event marker (with the previous flags still enabled), and that reset the gorgon to attacking one target with one weapon, but it was able to do damage. That said, I've now come full circle where the gorgon's 15 turrets sit looking pretty as the 16th turret pokes away at the command center, which is what I'm trying to fix.

     

    I'll try looking into triggers in the mean time, but any other advice would be appreciated.

     

    Edit: Yea, so triggers dont work. Still looking for a solution, so help is appreciated

    Here is a sc2 map file, if u run the map, there is a gorgon battlecruiser with all 16 of its weapons firing at a Command Center. For me, it does nothing.

    Edit: By nothing, the gorgon does no damage to the command center. It is a nice fireworks show though

    First time user, so I guess greetings are in order. Hiiiiiii. Now to business.

     

    What I'm trying to do is have one unit be able to attack multiple units when there are multiple units, but then focus all of its weapons on a single target when there is one target. (If u don't want to read, I'll sumarize at the bottom @ the TL;DR)

     

    So I've spent a while on this and I was able to make a mothership with anywhere from 2 to 36 (just for kicks) separate turrets and weapons. Workslike a charm vs numerous units. However when the mothership focused on one target, none of the attacks did any damage. I tried it with the unit that I based my mothership on (the Gorgon Battlecruiser Her unit from the Hots Char mission) by removing the effect marker from the Gorgon's weapons; however, the Gorgon has the same issue: when all the weapons focus down one target, the target receives no damage.

     

    I've tried redoing the mothership with 16 individual weapons with individual damage effects, individual actors, etc. That didn't work. Not sure where to go from here or if this is even possible.

     

    TL;DR: So, summarizing. I got something to have multiple weapons attacking multiple targets, but when those weapons attack one target, the target receives no damage. 

     

    Any ideas?
