Thank you, I really appreciate it. It was blocking me from getting a custom model to work.

I could not actually find any field containing anything related to health bar or anything like that in the actor section. Also does anyone have any clue how to disable the use of the level 20/30 skins from melee games?

I apologize if this has been posted anywhere, I tried using the search and couldn't find anything.

My first question is how to remove the health bars that heroes from HotS have over their heads as well as the aura glow around the hero on the ground.

The second question I have is how to disable custom skins such as marine to warpig and zealot to dark zealot if you are terran/protoss level 30.

Any help is greatly appreciated :).

posted a message on Keeping current with Blizzard's tweaks.

I personally find that Blizzard goes out of their way to intentionally make our lives difficult by modifying fields here and there when we aren't looking. Right now I am having a -LOT- of trouble figuring out how to properly link an actor (with model attached) to a unit. It used to be very simple, with only needing to modify a single field, however said field seems to no longer exist, or have been modified.

The above stated, I would like to ask someone who can create a custom unit with a custom model with ease to refer me to a CURRENT working tutorial / guide etc. explaining simply (without goofy snapshots with incorrect visuals of the editor) that is in current working order. I have checked over 7 of said reference materials tonight alone, and find that every single one is outdated. How this is the case is beyond me, but if someone could give me a little text step by step, or link me to an existing reference, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

PS: I run 64 bit Windows 7, so perhaps that is part of the difference in visuals, however I doubt there is a huge difference between the editor ui between OSes.

PPS: Does anyone else find that the SC2 editor seems to be made in such a way to be almost purposefully difficult to work with? For what reason can we not simply define a units data entirely upon one initial creation, or at the very least be able to link actors in a more simple manner?
